It's weird, this whole hurricane thing. Not how you're thinking.

I'm in Puerto Rico. We know what hurricanes are like. There were years when we got a few every year. But with all that's happened in the states, PR hasn't felt nothing bigger than thunderstorms.

This is not a Yay!PR thing... this is a OMG-I'm-scared thing. If all these cat 5 'canes are hitting the states, which don't normally get hit, I'm scared that us here, which normally get hit, will.

And why do I get instrospective at 2am?

I'm falling asleep hre... night.

:Hugs:

It is very scary.

Here in Australia we have cyclones in the North. I remember as a five year old buying a teddy bear for a girl my age who'd lost everything when Cyclone Tracy destroyed Darwin. Last Xmas day was the 30th year since it happened and we all stopped and remembered.

I've been looking the reports of Katrina and Rita and praying. I hope you and Puerto Rico stay safe too.

Weather is scary.

And fascinating. It's amazing what the 4 elements are capable of.

Mother Nature is kicking our asses for destroying her and the goverments of the world still don't listen to her outcries. I just really think that with every day and every new disaster, God is just telling us that He's fed up with all our shit. To get our act together or go bye bye.

You're right.

We've stuffed up big time here.
