Looking up

Well, things are starting to look back up, again.

I had forgotten that my b-day is in less than 2 weeks, so my Mom & Dad each contributed to the new computer (will buy it tonight) as an early b-day gift.  I will put up another chunk up, since I got paid today, and I'm taking out the CompUSA credit card for the rest.  Depending on how much credit it's approved for, I may or may not buy a flat screen to go with it.  Right now, my big ass regular monitor works fine.

The idea is to call Dell on Monday, have them come fix the computer, and have it as a second computer for Mom & Dad, just for internet & simple programs.  Therefore, I need a 2nd monitor.  And if I'm gonna get a new monitor, I will damn well get myself a flat screen.  I'll hold off on the screen until I figure out if the Dell is fixable.  Thankfully, I still have a month left in the warranty, so they *have* to fix it for free.

Can't wait for it to be 5:30 so I can go to CompUSA and get my new comp!!!!

It will have Windows Vista, but also 2GB ram, so I hope MS will get along with it well.  If not, I'm getting XP.
