Why is it that things just go from bad to worse?

Now my Mom is in need of $7k to finish the work that's being done on her teeth, and my oldest sister, who was supposed to be paying it just called her complaining about some sewer thing that's happening in her house and how expensive it is to repair and how they don't have the money, and now Mom doesn't want to tell her about the teeth thing.

Life sucks just about now.
