I'm not sure if it's the video card or the monitor that's f'ed up.

If I try to open MS or other full screen game, the picture goes wonky, concave glass effect, streched out in the middle, close together at the edges. With MS it's more pronounced, though. And I can't lower the resolution of my screen to 800x600 as I normally have it (near-sightness) or it distorts too.

I don't want to make the investment on a flat panel monitor right now, not because I don't want it (I do!), but because car & insurance payment are due this week. Though... I get paid this week....

But it may be the video card, then I make the investment for nothing. Not what I want!

ARGH!

If I take a screenie of my distorted monitor, but when I open it, it's not distorted, is it the video card or the monitor?

Help!

Uh, this means no MS (fuck!), until I figure this out.

I think it's the monitor. o.o If the screenie looks right when you look at it, then I think it's just your monitor dying on you. But if the picture itself distorted too I think it'd be your video card.

Sad Joey. ;__; I hope it gets fixed soon.

I need to consult Dell about it.

I hope it gets fixed soon.
