Update of what could be awesome.
Yesterday I got a call from an hr/interviewing type company, saying that I had been a recommended for a position in one of their client's company. It's the direct competition at the local level of the company I work for now. It's an Accounting Supervisor position. It's a possible increase of 10 to 20k more a year. O_O
I sent my resume this morning, and I got a call like an hour ago to set an interview for tomorrow at 3:30pm. The interview is with the company that screens applicants, so if all goes well tomorrow, I may be asked to meet with the actual company.
I don't know who recommended me (they wanted to stay anonymous to me), and I'm a bit aprehensive because it's Accounting, which I never wanted to study (my Bachelor's is in Materials & Operations Management). But I keep on falling into Accouting style positions....
But it's a great opportunity....
So I'm going tomorrow and doing my best to impress, and God willing, something good will come from this.
