Aug. 17th, 2007 10:06 amDad comes home today! The job over at Delaware didn't work out, so he resigned and is coming back home today!!!
I missed my Papá. It's the first time in our lives that Dad wasn't home for more than a month (he'd gone on trips with my brother, and once stayed with my bro for a month when my bro first left PR).
On other news, I expressed my interest on a position that will be opening around October to my boss. He's all for it. So, all that would be left is to convice the PVP's and get someone else for my job. Which is easier said than done, but go me! It would mean going from an hourly position, to a salaried manager position, and about a 20K increase (won't accept it, otherwise... it's what's budgeted and given to the current manager in that position).
If this happens, then I'm gonna try to find an apartment. I need to get my own place, seriously.
I've been exhausted by work lately, so that's why I haven't mapled, my peeps, but I'll try to get on tonight.
