Just need to say that there's no way I'll be able to make a coherent, squee-less review tonight.  I should be in bed.

Also, going to see it again tomorrow night.

BEST MOVIE EVER.

And [personal profile] shocolate?  I enjoyed aaaaallllllll of that and more!

Dumbledore saying 'Brian'?  TO DIE FOR.

Okay...

Why are people saying that there were incredible amount of changes?!?  Where the fuck?  I re-read the book before watching the movie, and yeah, there are changes but it's the most faithful to the book movie I've seen so far.

Come on, people.  Think of the PoA and GoF movies that had less material to work with and completly fucked up the storylines, then go see OotP again.  OotP was not my favorite book at first read (though I'm liking it much more by the 3rd re-read), and yet I enjoyed this movie ten times more than any of the other 4.

The acting was fantastic.

The sets were gorgeous.

The screenplay was amazing, with word by word dialog most of the times.

Changes were made by obvious need - time constraint being one of the many issues.  Other being the fact that since we can't read HP's thoughts or things being 'read', they need to be acted out.

Changes, few as they were, were handled tastefully and flowed.  They fit and were made pausible.

The effects were awesome.

And the lack of CAPSLOCK!HARRY?  I actually was grateful for it.  JK used the most effective resource an author has to espose anger.  The quiet grief and anger shown by Harry made it even more real and heartwrenching.  I would have hated having Dan scream every five minutes.

It rocked.

It's the best of the series.

I love David Yates, the screenplay author (I forget his name), Dan, Rupert, Emma, Gary, Matt, Evanna and everyone else.

Go re-read, go re-watch and get the fucking over it.

2nd viewing.  3rd row from the front.  Headache and neckache be damned. I saw so many more details this time around. I fucking love this movie.

I'm gonna go through the movie part by part,

That's as far as I go tonight, since I'm falling asleep and my higher brain functions aren't working up to par.
